Most recently, our lawyers filed several food poisoning lawsuits against the Nashville restaurant, Milk & Honey. Several people were hospitalized from salmonella poisoning after eating the short rib gnocchi between August 3 and August 4, 2018. The Metro Nashville Health Department conducted an investigation and determined that the restaurant had failed to properly cook the raw-egg containing gnocchi to a temperature high enough to make the food safe. The Health Department cited “lack of management oversight” into the preparation of the dish and “lack of employee training” as root causes of the improper cooking which led to the sickening over 20 people, several of whom were hospitalized.
